Summer Mission Project
Every Monday the Welcome Church in Philadelphia holds a Bible study that is open to everyone but is especially designed for those who are homeless. To help foster fellowship and to meet some of the needs of that population, lunch is provided. To do this, the Welcome Church needs volunteers to donate the meal. Through the Parish Life and Mission Committee, we have volunteered to provide this on June 17. We will therefore be making sandwiches and packing the lunch during Coffee Hour after worship on June 16th (yes, this is Father’s Day). If you are able, please plan to stay about 30 minutes to help out. We are also asking for donations of the necessary items for the lunch. Donation slips with specific items needed will be posted in Fellowship Hall beginning June 2. The items will need to be brought to the church on June 16.
